'lissa was taken off guard on november 3rd, when eli threw a sizable (40+ people) surprise shower. it took some coordination as people were coming from lancaster, massachusetts, vermont, connecticut and baltimore. somehow, everything went without a hitch. it was a gorgeous autumn day, full of laughter and loving support ... it's a day that we'll never forget. peggy made a beautiful, monstrous cake that could have easily fed a hundred. we were happily eating cake for dessert for a while... |
